fishy spa experience in Iloilo City

It was one trip to the mall that ended up with my toes being nibbled and my pants getting wet. If it sounds fishy, it’s because it really was: I had my first fish spa experience at Tibiao Fish Spa in SM Mandurriao, Iloilo City. My first visit to the spa was a little over a year ago, and when I went back again this year, I was surprised that they had moved to a new stall and had a new look. Here's the before and after pic:

Here's a video of these "therafish" nibbling and sucking on my toes. It tickled at first, but then I got used to it and even tried putting my fingers in the pool

making a splash

Maybe I slammed my head one time too many, or maybe I snorted so much water and it went up my brain. Or maybe it was a case of both. But whatever the reason, after I went wakeboarding at Camarines Sur last July, I decided I would write about it. (Well, I always say that I would write about something, but this time, I actually did it.)

As soon as the muscles in my arms stopped aching and I could place them an ergonomic 90-degree angle, I got to work on what would be my first official online article. In a rare triumph over procrastination, I managed to finish it in just a little over a week. I submitted my Beginner’s Guide to Wakeboarding to loqal.ph, and it got published:

I managed to draw from my lifetime of wakeboarding experience (which was roughly equivalent to about four hours) and share some tips on what to do on your first wakeboarding experience. Meanwhile, here is the video of me showing what NOT to do:

For the first time, I realized how warm and fuzzy it felt to see your name in a by-line. Since I like warm and fuzzy, I plan on continuing to contribute as long as I find the material. And while I’m at it, I might as well start the travel blog that I’ve always wanted to have. Thus, One Trip After Another is officially born.

In the unlikely event that this is where my online fame starts to take off, this blog would be the place where I started to make a splash.
